Background
Trae Nunn is grinding alongside elite company in what appears to be a loaded program. Playing with Arkansas-bound Meleek Thomas, Tennessee commit Amari Evans, and Mississippi State's Tee Bartlett gives him daily exposure to high-level basketball. That kind of environment either breaks you or makes you better fast.
Playing Style
At 5-5, Nunn has to be crafty and relentless to survive at the small forward spot. His size suggests he's probably more of a true point guard or combo guard who's been asked to play up due to team needs or versatility. The fact he's holding his own with Division I commits tells you he's got serious basketball IQ and probably shoots it well. Length and athleticism will always be question marks, but smaller players who can compete at this level usually have elite court vision and decision-making.
