By accessing or using www.prepradar.io (the "Site"), operated by PrepRadar ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

PrepRadar is a basketball recruiting information platform that aggregates publicly available data about D1-caliber prep basketball players. The Site provides rankings, AI-generated scout reports, offer tracking, commitment updates, and social media monitoring. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. User Accounts

  • You may create an account using Google OAuth to access features like saving favorite players.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and not impersonate any person or entity.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Site without permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems.
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's infrastructure or other users' access.
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit Site content without permission.
  • Use player information from the Site to harass, contact, or recruit players directly.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, AI-generated scout reports, PrepRadar rankings, and original content are owned by PrepRadar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Player data aggregated from third-party sources (247Sports, ESPN, On3, Rivals) remains the property of those respective services.

6. Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date recruiting information. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data on the Site. Rankings are generated using AI algorithms and may differ from other services. Commitment and offer information should be verified through official sources before making decisions.

7. Advertisements

The Site displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the products/services they promote. Ad interactions are governed by the respective advertiser's terms and privacy policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepRadar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. This includes but is not limited to damages from reliance on information provided, loss of data, or interruption of service.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (including player social media profiles, recruiting services, and college programs). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.

10. Player Data Requests

If you are a player, parent, or guardian and wish to request corrections to or removal of a player's information from the Site, please contact us. We will review all requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
