What is PrepRadar?
PrepRadar is an AI-powered D1-caliber prep basketball recruiting tracker. We aggregate data from multiple recruiting services, public social media, and school rosters to give you a comprehensive view of top high school and prep basketball prospects across the country.
How do PrepRadar rankings work?
Our rankings are built from a composite of 247Sports, ESPN, On3, and Rivals data combined with our own AI analysis. We calculate a weighted composite score from all available ratings and layer in our scouting insights to produce a single, easy-to-read ranking for every tracked player.
Where does PrepRadar get its data?
We pull from 247Sports, ESPN, On3, Rivals, public social media accounts, and official school rosters. All information is publicly available and aggregated for informational and journalistic purposes.
What do the commitment statuses mean?
UNCOMMITTED means the player has not made a verbal commitment. COMMITTED means they have given a verbal commitment to a program. SIGNED means the player has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI). ENROLLED means the player is currently attending and participating at a college program.
How often is the data updated?
Rankings sync on the 1st and 15th of each month. Our social media monitor runs multiple times daily to catch offers, commitments, and recruiting news in near real-time. Offer data is scraped four times per week.
How can I get a player added or corrected?
Email us at prepradar@cloudreply.net with the player’s name, class year, current school, and the details you’d like added or corrected. We review submissions within 48 hours.
What are scout reports?
Scout reports are AI-generated scouting analyses that cover a player’s playing style, physical profile, background, strengths, areas for growth, and recruitment outlook. They’re designed to give fans, coaches, and media a quick but thorough breakdown of each prospect.
Which class years does PrepRadar cover?
We currently track the classes of 2025 through 2029, with priority coverage on seniors and juniors who are closest to making their college decisions.
Is PrepRadar affiliated with the NCAA?
No. PrepRadar is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA or any college athletic program. All content is for informational purposes only.

Is PrepRadar free to use?
Yes. PrepRadar is completely free to browse. All player profiles, rankings, scout reports, and recruiting content are available at no cost.
How do social media updates work?
We monitor players’ public Twitter and Instagram accounts for recruiting-related activity such as new offers, commitment announcements, and visit updates. These are surfaced on each player’s profile so you can follow their recruitment in one place.
