Kevin Ollie
Head Coach
Kevin Ollie brings a wealth of basketball experience to Overtime Elite, where he serves as head of coaching and basketball development since joining the innovative league in April 2021. The 48-year-old coach has built an impressive resume spanning playing and coaching at the highest levels of basketball. After a standout collegiate career at UConn, Ollie enjoyed a remarkable 13-year NBA playing career from 1997 to 2010, rising from an undrafted guard to become a solid backup for twelve NBA franchises, including three notable stints with the Philadelphia 76ers. His transition to coaching proved equally successful, as he returned to his alma mater UConn and led the Huskies to a national championship, becoming just the fourth Black coach to win a Division I NCAA men's basketball title. Following two successful seasons at Overtime Elite, Ollie continues to demonstrate his versatility and expertise, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2023-2024 NBA season while maintaining his development role with emerging basketball talent.
