Scout Report

Walking into Prolific Prep practice, you immediately notice the 6-10 frame anchoring a lineup loaded with top-10 national recruits. Lewis Uvwo holds his own against that elite competition daily.

Background

The younger brother of Igho Uvwo, Lewis comes from a family that understands basketball at the highest levels. He made the move to Napa Valley's Prolific Prep to test himself against premium talent and accelerate his development. The program's track record of developing big men made it an obvious landing spot for his skill set.

Playing Style

Uvwo brings legitimate size with developing coordination around the basket. His footwork in the post needs refinement, but the foundation is there for a reliable interior scorer. He moves well for his size in transition and shows flashes of rim protection instincts. The jump shot remains inconsistent, which limits his floor spacing ability right now. His best attribute might be his basketball IQ - he rarely makes the same mistake twice and understands positioning concepts that take other big men years to grasp.

Recruitment

No reported offers yet, which isn't surprising for a 2027 prospect still filling out his frame. Playing alongside Darryn Peterson, Caleb Holt, and Bruce Branch III gives him incredible exposure to college coaches who visit Prolific Prep regularly. His ceiling projects as a high-major center if he continues developing his offensive skill set.
