Ghai made the move from Orlando, Missouri to The Academy of Central Florida, where he's developed alongside some serious talent including Florida State commit Martay Barnes and rising 2027 prospects. The coaching staff at ACF has done solid work getting him ready for the next level. Playing in that competitive environment daily has accelerated his development.
Playing Style
At 7-3, Ghai gives you exactly what you'd expect around the rim on defense - altering shots and cleaning glass. His footwork is surprisingly decent for a kid that tall, though he's still figuring out how to use his length consistently on offense. He's not going to create his own shot much, but he finishes well around the basket when fed properly. The motor runs hot and cold, which is typical for big men his age, but when he's locked in, he can dominate stretches with pure size and reach.
Recruitment
Northwestern got their man early, beating out a solid group that included Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Xavier for his services. His ceiling is intriguing - developmental big men with his measurements don't grow on trees. If he continues adding strength and refining his post moves, he could be a real factor in the Big Ten down the road.
