Scout Report
The Gator freshman forward is making an immediate impact in Gainesville after completing one of the most successful high school careers in North Carolina prep basketball history.
Background
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Parker developed his game at Word of God Academy, where he was part of an elite senior class that featured four nationally-ranked prospects. Playing alongside future college players Marcus Jackson, Jordan Vick, and Zion Collins, Parker was ranked #84 nationally in the high school class of 2025. His recruitment attracted major SEC programs before he ultimately chose to stay in the conference with Florida.
Playing Style
Parker brings a versatile skill set at 6-6 that allows him to operate effectively in multiple frontcourt positions. His combination of size and mobility makes him a matchup problem for opposing defenses, capable of stepping out to the perimeter while maintaining the physicality to bang in the paint. He excels at using his length to disrupt passing lanes and alter shots around the rim. Parker's basketball IQ and ability to make quick decisions in transition have translated well to the college level, though he continues to develop his consistency from beyond the arc.
Recruitment
Now suiting up for the Gators, Parker has the tools to develop into a key contributor in the SEC. His high school pedigree as a top-100 recruit and experience playing with elite-level talent at Word of God Academy should serve him well as he adjusts to college basketball. With his frame and skill set continuing to mature, Parker projects as a player who could see significant minutes as his freshman season progresses.
