Background
Taggart made the move to Putnam Science Academy, one of the premier prep programs in New England that consistently develops college-level talent. The Connecticut prep powerhouse has become his launching pad for serious recruitment. He runs with the EYBL circuit, getting elite exposure against top competition nationwide.
Playing Style
At 6-4, Taggart has the size to play multiple guard spots and create matchup problems for smaller defenders. His length allows him to see over defenses and make plays others can't. Playing alongside elite talent like Benjamin Ahmed and Adama Tambedou has forced him to refine his decision-making and pick his spots more carefully. He's still developing consistency with his outside shot, which will determine whether he becomes a true combo guard or needs to focus more on facilitating at the point.
