Scout Report

Standing seven feet tall and already commanding attention from college basketball's elite programs, this Indianapolis big man represents the future of dominant interior play.

Background

Hailing from Indianapolis, Hill suits up for Pike High School, where he's part of an incredibly talented roster. He plays alongside fellow standouts Landon Lampley, a 2028 small forward ranked 35th nationally, and Jahari Miller, a 2027 combo guard ranked 72nd in their class. This trio gives Pike one of the most formidable lineups in Indiana high school basketball.

Playing Style

Hill's imposing 7-0 frame gives him natural advantages in the paint on both ends of the floor. His size allows him to alter shots defensively and finish around the rim with relative ease on offense. As a true center prospect, he possesses the physical tools to be an immediate presence in the post. While still developing his overall skill set and mobility at his size, Hill shows promise as a traditional big man who can anchor a defense and provide reliable interior scoring.

Recruitment

Hill's recruitment has already attracted major attention with six Division I offers from powerhouse programs including Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue, Syracuse, Georgetown, and Kentucky. Being ranked 16th nationally in the loaded 2027 class speaks to his high ceiling as a prospect. His combination of size and potential projects him as a future impact player at the college level.

Jony Ive on what Steve Jobs taught him about focus: “This sounds really simplistic but it still shocks me how few people actually practice this. It’s a struggle to practice this. Steve was the most remarkably focused person I ever met in my life. Focus is not something https://t.co/JHsTSQnihT
