Scout Report
A Wisconsin native who made the jump from prep powerhouse DME Academy to Big East basketball, bringing his 6-5 frame and shooting touch to the next level.
Background
Hailing from Delafield, Wisconsin, McClure made the move to DME Academy to elevate his game on the national prep circuit. At DME, he shared the court with elite prospects including top-5 2027 forward Ryan Hampton and Louisville-bound point guard Mikel Brown Jr., competing against premier competition daily. The Wisconsin product was ranked #183 nationally in the 2025 recruiting class before making his college commitment.
Playing Style
McClure brings prototypical size for a shooting guard at 6-5, allowing him to see over defenders and create matchup problems on both ends of the floor. His length gives him versatility to guard multiple positions while his shooting stroke projects as his calling card offensively. He's shown the ability to knock down shots from deep range and has the frame to develop into a more complete offensive threat. The adjustment to college basketball will test his ball-handling and ability to create his own shot against more athletic defenders.
Recruitment
Now enrolled at DePaul, McClure chose the Blue Demons after receiving his primary Division I opportunity from the Big East program. His development trajectory will be closely watched as he adapts to the speed and physicality of college basketball, with his shooting ability giving him a clear path to contributing early in his collegiate career.
