Scout Report
Standing at 6-9 with the ability to impact winning at the highest level, this Georgian forward has already made the jump to SEC basketball as a key piece for the Rebels.
Background
Hailing from Marietta, Georgia, Tylis Jordan developed his game at Wheeler High School, one of the state's premier basketball programs. Coming through the competitive Georgia prep circuit, he was ranked as the 47th best prospect nationally in the 2025 recruiting class. At Wheeler, he played alongside elite talents including 2026 five-star Colben Landrew, who committed to UConn, and fellow Ole Miss commit Jaron Saulsberry.
Playing Style
Jordan brings impressive size and length to the power forward position at 6-9, with the frame to compete physically in the paint against SEC competition. His combination of height and mobility allows him to be effective both in the post and facing up from the perimeter. As a versatile big man, he can stretch the floor while also providing interior presence on both ends. His basketball IQ and understanding of positioning make him a valuable team player who impacts winning through multiple facets of the game.
Recruitment
Jordan committed to Ole Miss and has already enrolled, joining head coach Chris Beard's program as they continue building their roster. His decision to stay in-state within the SEC reflects his belief in the Rebels' vision and his fit within their system. With his ranking as a top-50 national prospect, he projects as a player who can develop into a significant contributor throughout his college career.
