David Flores John runs in elite circles for good reason, suiting up alongside highly-ranked teammates who've already secured Division I commitments. The 2027 wing has gotten valuable experience competing at a high level, learning what it takes to play with and against top-tier talent. That exposure has accelerated his development in ways that show up on film.
Playing Style
At 6-6, John has the frame to create problems on both ends of the floor. He moves well for his size and shows good court awareness when working off his more heralded teammates. His length allows him to affect shots defensively and grab rebounds in traffic. The shooting stroke needs refinement, but the mechanics suggest upside with proper coaching. What catches your eye is his basketball IQ - he makes the right read more often than not and doesn't force situations.
